[ ] Active Internet Connection: Since I’m connecting through the web, you must be able to open a website (like Google or news sites) for remote support to work.
[ ] The computer turns on: I can fix software and “bugs” remotely, but if the screen is black or the power won’t stay on, I’ll need to pick it up for a hardware repair.
[ ] You are at the machine: For security, I need you there for the first 2 minutes to click “Allow” and give me the unique access code.
[ ] You know your login: Make sure you have your Windows or Mac password handy so we don’t get stuck at the login screen.

Terms of Remote Service
Please read the following terms regarding our remote support services.
1. Hardware vs. Software Remote support is strictly for software issues. If I determine during the session that your problem is caused by physical hardware failure (e.g., a failing hard drive or bad power supply), I will end the session and schedule an on-site visit.
Refund Policy: If I cannot fix the problem remotely due to a hardware issue or connection limitation, a refund will be initiated, minus a $20.00 Diagnostic Fee for the troubleshooting time.
2. Data & Liability While Abet IT Services takes every precaution to preserve your data, data loss can occasionally occur during deep system repairs (especially when viruses are involved). By using this service, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Abet IT Services for any data or software lost during the repair process.
I strongly recommend backing up your critical files before any service.
3. Virus Removal Guarantee We offer a 7-Day Guarantee on virus and malware removal.
If you suspect the infection has returned within 7 days, please contact us immediately for a follow-up.
After 7 days, any new infections will be treated as a new service request.
Note: No antivirus software is 100% perfect. I cannot guarantee that a virus will never get through in the future, regardless of the protection software used.
4. Confidentiality Any private information viewed by me during a remote session is held in strict confidence. I do not store your data on Abet IT Services servers unless you explicitly request a temporary backup for the purpose of the repair. Any temporary backups are destroyed immediately after the repair is complete.
