Refund and Returns Policy

I want you to be completely satisfied with the service you receive. Because I provide a combination of professional labor, specialized hardware, and digital software, my refund and return policies are broken down by category below to keep things as clear and fair as possible.
1. Service and Labor Fees
Because labor represents time and expertise that cannot be returned, all labor and service fees are non-refundable.
However, I proudly stand behind my work. As stated in my Terms of Service, I provide a 30-day limited warranty on all labor. If the exact same issue reoccurs within 30 days of the original repair, I will work to make it right at no additional labor cost to you.
2. Check-Up and Travel Fees
If I perform a full check-up on your computer and you decide not to proceed with the recommended repair, or if the device is deemed unrepairable, the initial $20 Check-Up fee and flat Travel Fee (a maximum of $60 total) are still required to cover the time and travel involved. These fees are non-refundable unless you choose to utilize my Voluntary Surrender policy. If you instantly surrender an unrepairable device to me for secure data destruction and e-waste recycling, I will completely waive the check-up and travel fees ($0 due).
3. Hardware and Parts
If I purchase hardware components (such as a hard drive, battery, or RAM) specifically for your repair, the following rules apply:
- Unopened/Unused Parts: Can be returned within 14 days of the service date, subject to a 15% restocking fee.
- Opened/Installed Parts: Cannot be returned or refunded unless they are defective.
- Defective Parts: Handled under the original manufacturer’s warranty. If a part I installed fails under its warranty period, I will happily assist you in processing the manufacturer replacement (though standard labor rates may apply to swap the part out).
4. Custom PC Builds
For custom gaming rigs or high-end office builds, a deposit is required before I order the components. Once the parts are ordered, the deposit becomes non-refundable. Completed custom builds cannot be returned. Any defective individual parts within the build will be covered by their respective manufacturer warranties.
5. Software and Digital Licenses
Due to the nature of digital goods, any software, operating systems, or digital licenses (such as Microsoft Office, Windows, or Antivirus software) purchased and activated on your behalf are strictly non-refundable.
6. How to Request Assistance
If you are experiencing an issue with a recent repair or believe a newly installed part is defective, please contact me immediately so we can get it resolved.
